Follow your bliss

Jenn: "Shall we tell them now? Or do you want to wait?"

the Mater: "They're all looking at us. I'd like to make the announcement now ..."

Jenn: "Go for it, mama. Tell your good news."

the Mater is packing it all up and moving to the Berkshires!

Jenn: "Let's drink to that! Life as we know it will never again be the same."

Yay! Yay! *jumping around* The Mater will have babies to play with! The babies will have a grammie to play with!
Hope the simgle men in The Berkshires don't all drive convertables :)

See, Mater, my proof reading is not the cat's meow either. I'm sure you would prefer "single" men to "simgle" ones.

Sounds like great news :-) Btw, I hadn't realised before how similar you and Jenn look!

Awwww, the I'll never see you and the accordian at the seisiuns. Unless of course you show up to one before you leave. See, it's always all about me. As for you, great decision! I wish my parents would make the same decision. Well, not to move in with Jenn, but to move closer to me.

What a wonderful decision. My mom is four hours away, and that is a little too much for both of us.

The ones I'm really happy for are your grandaughters. You are giving them an icredible gift. My grandmother lived next door to me as a child, and that was one of my most important relationships. I was thinking about her recently. We never "went" anywhere together except perhaps church or the beauty shop, and she never bought me any gifts, but she was one of the most important people for the time that we spent together talking in her kitchen

Hooray for you! Hooray for grandmas! My own mother lives 3,000 miles away, but I'm blessed to have a truly best friend in my mother-in-law, who lives around the corner from me and, god bless her, watches the kids when I need her to.

Grandmas are cool.

You guys rock! And yes just think of the future stories with two of us living so close!

I've opened myself to the universe (daughter has been advising this for years) and already the universe is giving back in the most surprising ways.

I'll have much to share on my blog as I take this journey.

Projected landing date: Labor Day weekend! No apartment, no job yet - but it's all good. I'm smiling :>)

To be continued ...

Er, guess you should know that, after 19 years at my university, I handed in my notice this past Monday.

Peace is flowing like a river :>)

p.s. - I bet I know where that picture was taken. Where are the chocolate covered strawberries?

That's so exciting! Congratulations, Mater! I'm sure that you and Jenn living so close together will generate even more funny/heartwarming stories. :-)

I have to tell you that I love you and your daughter so much!

You make me miss my mommy.

Blessings to you and your move!

Oh Good! THAT family needs you! There's talk about kids in cages, the Mom may be a vampire, and the Dad sleeps standing up!
(Jk!)

Have Jenn contact Sean for an apartment, he'll be back in 2 weeks.
